Brackets for 5A State Basketball
The official state tournament brackets for Class 5A Boys & Girls (B) to be held in Salina starting March 10 can be found here: http://www.kshsaa.org/BASKETBALL/Brackets/5AState.htm (scroll down to see girls' brackets)
The Newton girls basketball games at the State tournament in Topeka will be carried on McPherson Radio (KBBE -- 96.7 FM). The first round game will be Thursday (March 11) beginning at 4:45.

Johns signs with ESU

Mick selected as Coach of the Year
Congratulations to Richard Mick for being selected the 2009 Kansas Cross Country and Track and Field Coaches Association's 5A Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year. This honor recognizes the outstanding work that Coach Mick has done around the state.
