Team Expectations

We have developed some basic expectations that will enable your student to be successful in sixth grade.

Our expectations are based on:

*Respect--Be respectful to yourself and others

*Organization--Being organized and using your planner will help you succeed.

*Attitude--A positive attitude will take you a long way.

*Responsibility--Be responsible for your actions.

Reflection Sheets

*Reflections Sheets will be used as a way to monitor discipline/behavior problems.  After three reflection sheets, there will be a student/team conference with the 6th grade teachers.  If the problem continues then the students will be referred to the office.  Please feel free to visit with the 6th grade team regarding concerns with reflection sheets.

Other Important Information

*Students will be asked to have parents sign their planners every Wednesday.

*Reading is important.  We'd like students to always have a book in class to use for silent reading when work is completed.  Students will be expected to read a library book (no magazines, newspapers, or textbooks).

*No coats or book bags in the classroom.

*Students will be allowed 3 passes per nine weeks in each class.
