DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

STORYTIME SESSIONS – These storytime sessions include activities for 3 ˝ to 6 year old preschoolers in the form of stories, songs, and finger plays. Sessions are held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays, during the school year.

TOY LENDING LIBRARY – Toys to develop auditory, visual and perceptual skills are available for check-out. There is also a puppet theatre (which is collapsible) and puppets which can be checked out.

SUMMER READING PROGRAM – For children ages 2-12.

OTHER RESOURCES – Books, records, cassettes, CD’s, videos and DVDs, audio-visual equipment, patterns, typewriter and magazines may also be checked out. Interlibrary loans available for materials from other libraries. Internet access available. Fax service, Microfilm reader/printer, and Digital Scanner.

TALKING BOOK PROGRAM – Applications are available upon request for visually or physically handicapped persons to receive audio books. These are sent directly to the person’s home.

SCHEDULE OF SERVICE DELIVERY – The library is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday; and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

FEES – Free of charge.
