DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Parents As Teachers is a free, voluntary program, funded by a grant from the Kansas State Department of Education and the Newton, Halstead/Bentley and Hesston Boards of Education. The program is open to all families living in the Newton, Halstead/Bentley and Hesston school districts regardless of income, who have children from birth to 36 months of age.

The PAT program provides practical, effective assistance for all families through personal home visits, group meetings, development screenings, and newsletters.

ELIGIBILITY – Residence in the Newton, Halstead/Bentley or Hesston school districts.

SCHEDULE OF SERVICE DELIVERY – This is a year round program
