Monthly Child Find Screenings are provided for children between the ages of birth to five at no cost to families.  Developmental screenings include checks for hearing, vision, speech, cognitive, and fine and gross motor skills.  Families can schedule appointments for screenings by calling the Cooper Early Education Center main phone number.

Services for families and children from birth to age three include the Parents As Teachers (PAT) program and Infant-Toddler Early Intervention services.  PAT is designed to assist parents and children in getting the best possible start in life and is available to any family with children from pregnancy to age three.  The Infant-Toddler program provides early intervention services to families and young children birth to age three who are experiencing developmental delays.

Preschool services include the Kid Start Preschool, Head Start and Early Childhood Special Education services.  KidStart provides a preschool program for children who are four years of age by August 31, are not enrolled in Head Start, and meet certain criteria for eligibility.  Head Start provides services to children who are three on or before August 31st and meet income guidelines.  Early Childhood Special Education services are available for children age three to five years with developmental needs in a variety of school district and community settings.
