Booster Club Minutes

October 20, 2009

The Treasurer’s Report was read by Renee Hamm. The current balance is $18,032.75. JT Enterprises (fundraising company) is yet to be paid (major expenditure – approx. $8000.).

It was discussed and decided that t-shirts will be ordered from Milt Anderson. Three options were available and voted on. The price of the shirts will be decided upon at the next meeting after Janet talks with Milt about pricing.

New and gently used hats and mittens will be collected for the "Giving Tree", which will be decorated at the entrance of the school (Christmas tree). This will begin the week of November 9^{th. A Thank You message will go home with the November meeting reminder note.}

Carnival dates were discussed, deciding on Saturday, May 1, 2010.

The school directory has been completed and will be distributed soon. A big thanks to Sherry McCoy!

Holly Ruth has mailed 2571 Box Tops for the fall shipment. We should expect a check for approximately $256.

It was decided that Santa Clause will visit the students again this year on December 18th.

Child care will again be offered during meetings provided by a local Girl Scout Troop. Booster Club meetings will be held the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM, unless otherwise noted: Nov. 17, Dec. 15, Jan. 19, Feb. 16, Mar. 9, Apr. 20, and May 4.
